大阪市では、市民等の安心、安全及び快適な生活環境を確保するとともに、国際観光都市にふさわしい環境整備やまちの美化に積極的に取り組んでいくため、「大阪市路上喫煙の防止に関する条例」（以下「条例」といいます。）に基づき、令和7年1月27日（月曜日）から、大阪市内全域で路上喫煙を禁止しています。 路上喫煙が禁止されている区域では、違反者に対して1,000円の過料を徴収しています。
